How to handle situations of overqualification

Is your CV scary?
It can be frustrating when you keep getting rejected emails because of being over qualified. It isn't your fault after all. The jobs matching your resume are not for hire. These are a few advice you should opt for Don't be desperate Due to the fact that you have been looking for job for so long. Don't appear desperate to recruiters. You shouldn't be telling them that you have decided to take any job earn any salary. When you want to take any Job or earn any salary, interviewers believe you are not in for the joy of the job and thus might leave any time a better offer arise or you may do the job absentmindedly. Therefore, you must not only show that you can do the job but also that you want the job. Let them know that you experience is a plus and will be of advantage to them.
Take Advantage of your Networking Either you were sacked or you quitted your previous job, you would have had a network of friends, colleagues, co-employees and friends. They can help you get connected to unadvertised jobs and link you to senior executives. Results have shown that networking is very useful in getting jobs. Do some Indepth search There are hundreds of unadvertised top jobs out there. Employers are always reluctant to put out top jobs for vacancy. Let your employers know about how you have handled previous projects and how you have been a part of the success. Instead I saying "I just need this job", try saying " I have handled a lot of past projects and it has been a success". Give them reason why you ar quitting the job for this " I need a job that really puts my skills into use and where I will be more effective" "My Previous job does not give me time to devote time for my family. I need a job that does not require me to travel around". Don't lower yourself Just because you are overqualified, don't reduce your qualification to suit the job. you might get a job afterwards, but you might not be able to wait to get out of it.
