There is a point in life in which you get tired of your job and it bores you. What you need might be a career change. This requires a lot of concentration and dedication.
Why do you need to change?
Before you quit, you must be able to find a reason. Some of
the reasons why most people go for a career change are:
·
The job is no longer interesting.
·
You don’t find joy in the work.
·
You are not making progress.
·
You are not getting along with co-workers or
your boss.
·
You are getting old for the kind of job.
Are there any long term opportunities to be determined from
this new career?
When you look at this new career, what do you think you can
gain in the long run? Will you be more comfortable than you are now? If yes,
you are good to go
Can your previous skills be relevant in your new career?
You want a career change abi? During your previous line of
work, you probably have acquired a lot of skills and knowledge. Can these
skills be implemented in your new career?
Are you zealous about this new career?
Would you really love to do this? Or is it just monetary
motivation? If you are more ardent about the new career, your transition will
be easier
What kind of job do you like?
The kind of job you like, maybe less physical type. Is this
the type you are likely to face in your new career?
If you don’t make this change, will you ever regret it?
